Jesus the son of God
by kingdoman ini believe in jesus christ the son of god conceived of the virgin mary and who is one and the same as the father and the holy spirit, and through him all things where created.
i believe that he was crucified as a perfect sacrifice for our sins and on the third day rose from the dead and later ascended in heaven.
it is through jesus christ that we enter the kingdom of heaven and there is no lack of space in heaven.

Great site Quotes.
You could also include page 184 of the old Babylon the Great Has Fallen book which gives the length of reign of three of those kings, Evil Merodach, Neriglissar, and Labashi-Marduk.

Dr Who ... revenge of the BBC !
by Simon in.
the latest episode of dr who really made me laugh - the bbc script writers made some quite subtle but pointed digs at the government wo had previously 'won' (unfairly) after appointing their own judge as to whether the bbc or the government lied about iraq.. the pm got killed.. downing street got destroyed because of aliens with .... weapons of mass destruction that could be launched in 45 minutes seconds (which in the end turned out not to exist).
brilliant.

The new series is great, obviously written by fans of the show who have updated it for a new generation.
My 5 year old watches it from behind the living room door asking me what's happening next. It's great fun!
It also makes a great change from other Si-Fi programmes where aliens are humans with either funny eyebrows, ears, wrinkled forehead or any combination of them. It's as funny as any of the Douglas Adams' Dr Who stories, and as well produced as the Philip Hinchcliffe stories.
And god, there are some ignorant twats on this board!!!

Brits. Will you vote in next month's General Election?
by nicolaou inas everyone had guessed, the election has been set for may 5th.
personally, this is my first opportunity 'post wt mind-control' to vote for our next government.
i don't suppose that i will - 40 years of 'neutrality' and non-involvement have rather flattened my desire to take part in political change.. how about you?

Here's my results:
Who should I vote for?
Your expected outcome:
Conservative
Your actual outcome:
Labour -12 Conservative 32 Liberal Democrat -32 UK Independence Party 10 Green -4
You should vote: ConservativeThe Conservative Party is strongly against joining the Euro and against greater use of taxation to fund public services. The party broadly supported the Iraq war and backs greater policing and ID cards. The Tories are against increasing the minimum wage above the rate of inflation, and have committed to abolishing university tuition fees. They support 'virtual vouchers' for private education.
Tory it is then!

I don't think mamacat was putting the views in that Watchtower forward as her own, but to show the Watchtower's arguments (or lack of) on this subject.
Just go through that Watchtower article and pull apart each argument so that if the elder comes back to you with this you can quickly go through it and show him how wrong it is.

Daniel's Prophecy, 605 BCE or 624 BCE?
by Little Bo Peep inhello all, i've been reading your site for a couple of years now, and have found, for the most part, it to be very helpful.
i must say, at first i was very "scared" at what i might find, but contrary to what i grew up learning, there is a "wealth" of information outside of the watchtower organization.
i haven't attended meetings for about two years now, and like many i've read about, have spent many hours researching, telling myself "i'm not wrong for searching", and doing more research.

The maths do not add up. If we add the seventy years after 587 then we get 517 which was some twenty years after the exile finished in 537
Do you really still not get Leolaia's point?????
The maths do not add up. If we subtract seventy years from 537 then we get 607 which was some twenty years before the destruction of Jerusalem in 587.
